Rehabilitation services

The Foundation provides rehabilitation services for the people we house, and for those who access our jointly managed resettlement service. We know from our research that one in two ex-Service homeless people have an alcohol problem, and one in three have a mental health problem, and we aim to address these issues.

We recognise that people cannot be successfully re-housed and achieve independence until they begin to address the root cause of their homelessness. We provide the advice and support that people need to rebuild their lives and become a valued member of society once again.

Rehabilitation and helping ex-Service people rebuild their lives is at the centre of our mission; we aim to help those we house from a homeless and rootless existence to achieve independence.

This is the focus of the support plan we devise for each tenant or resident, and the Tenant Support Team takes on the task of making sure that everything is done to help those we re-house achieve their objectives.
