What a great day it was!
Thanks to the energy, professionalism and hard work of Red Watch Fulham Fire Station, Territorial Army (W Squadron, Royal Yeomanry Fulham High Street) and Army Recruitment at Woolwich, we were treated to a real Fun Day on 3rd July 2010 at the Sports Pitches of Bishops Park.
This free event drew crowds for its Land Rover pulls (honours even, Red Watch winning the first run and the TA winning the second), demonstrations on how not to put out a chip pan fire (fireball and flames several feet high!), blindfold orienteering, crawling under camouflage nets, beat the goalie, drench the Sergeant Major and a huge inflatable assault course, there was something for everyone.

We were honoured with a visit from Her Worship the Mayor of Hammersmith and Fulham, Councillor Adronie Alford, who spent time chatting with all those involved.

Our special thanks to Dave Carroll, Manager of Red Watch, Captain Paul Maxwell, W Squadron Royal Yeomanry and all those who gave up their Saturday to support and fundraise for us, we will have topped the 4 figure mark by the end of the week so thank you too, to the generous and kind people of Fulham who made it all worthwhile by showing your appreciation of the efforts made.
Lastly, to Carmen and her mobile refreshments - hopefully your ice cream machine has been repaired now and you can benefit from the hot spell we are having. Thank you for supporting and supplying the Teams.
