Veterans Minister visits the new Westway Scheme

On 7 February 2007 Veterans Minister Derek Twigg visited the New Westway Beacons Scheme for former homeless ex-Service personnel. Having visited the scheme and told of the holistic approach adopted by the Foundation he was then shown the new Learning Zone managed by partners Training for Life, aimed at getting ex-Servicemen and women back into employment and education to ensure their return back into the community.

'I am very impressed by the high quality accomodation made available to ex-Service men and women by the Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation. Homelessness is a terrible problem that affects people from all walks of life including our ex-Service men and women'.
