Our Housing Schemes
The Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions
The Stoll Foundation's original and main site is on the Fulham Road, next door to Chelsea Football Club. It is a unique, tranquil community in the heart of West London aimed at providing the very best home for those who have served in our country’s Armed Forces.
The site is complete with a gym, community hall, an IT suite, full disability access, a library, a laundrette and a health and wellbeing facility.
Here, we own and manage 157 one, two and three-bedroom properties complete with support and best-in-class housing management services. The management and administration of the Foundation are also located on site.
Chiswick War Memorial Homes
The Foundation is the sole Trustee of Chiswick War Memorial Homes. We have 36 homes on this site now that the final development phase has been completed we have succeeded in our aim to provide a community comprising 36 homes and a “community hub” with IT and well-being activities, activities specifically designed for vulnerable and disabled ex-Service personnel.
Our aim with CWMH is to encourage fully-independent living for those who are capable of achieving this, helping Veterans rebuild their lives through community involvement and back-to-work activities.
The project has transformed the existing estate into a vibrant and well supported ex-service community, providing much needed high-standard accommodation and was completed in early July 2010.
The grand opening took place on 11th November 2010.
The Foundation also owns 20 properties in Banstead Court, East Acton, specifically for former homeless Veterans. Situated on the Westway, this estate includes the provision of IT training and one-on-one tailored support from our full-time staff.
In addition, the Foundation owns or manages properties on Sir William Powell's Almshouses in Fulham, the Clem Atlee Estate, Townmead Road and Du Cane Road.

You must also have served either in the Armed Forces or Merchant Navy, or be a widow or widower of such a person and have a disability of a permanent nature.
- Extra support moving into our property including access to grants and support from our team to set up a tenancy – including a specific redecoration allowance.
- A close relationship with the Foundation’s support servicesto ensure that we can support anyone having trouble managing their tenancy, so that repairs are completed, rent can be paid and money and debt issues can be resolved.
- A supportive approach to ensure that residents are enabled to pay their rent, rather than a reactive approach that penalises tenants.
- An excellent, in-house Repairs team responsible for reactive repairs as well as our annual planned maintenance programme.
Tenants are involved in all aspects of the running of the Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions, from meetings with management on day-to-day issues through to representation of the Residents Association at on out Trustee Board. The level of interaction we have with our tenants and the level of resources we invest in our housing and our tenants means we are more than just a housing provider – we are a living community.
